In this module you are introduced to the six interaction skills that are required to support and stimulate the development of children: sensitive responsiveness. respect for autonomy, structure and setting boundaries, talking and explaining, development stimulation, and coaching of interactions. In this module you learn with the assistance of theory, videos, and assignments:

• To specifically apply the six interaction skills.
• The link with the basic objectives of childcare.
• How interactions affect the brain and bonding.
• To be mindful of language, tone, and attitude.
• To recognise personal preferences and to vary approaches.

You obtain a clear overview and practical tools to practise with the interaction skills. Do you want to take this further? There are individual in-depth modules per interaction skill available for this (in Dutch). In 2026 and 2027 they are also made available in Papiamentu and English.
