Contact

You can find the answers to many questions on this website. Can’t find the answer to your question? Then you can contact various organisations if you have questions about the topics listed below:

Questions about the BES(t) 4 kids programme

For this, please contact the support BES(t) 4 kids office (C.W. Woodley Road, Golden Rock) or contact the BES(t) 4 kids project leader on your island.

Support for childcare organisations

For pedagogical support and advice, childcare organisations can contact the Social Domain Directorate of the Public Entity (pedagogue at The Rock and support BES(t) 4 kids).

Complaints about the quality of childcare

If you have any complaints about the quality of childcare, parents and employees are advised to first contact their own childcare centre. It is best if you can resolve the issue together. Childcare centres often have a complaints procedure for complaints about the childcare agreement and about the behaviour of the owner or employees.

If you would like advice or mediation in the event of complaints, or if your childcare centre refuses to accept your child’s placement or terminates the agreement, you can ask advice at the Social Domain Directorate of the Public Entity.

Would you like to report your concerns about the quality of childcare to the inspectorate? You can do so by sending an email to the inspectorate: kinderopvangcn@owinsp.nl.

Childcare compensation for childcare centres

At www.rijksdienstcn.com/childcare, childcare organisations can find all the information about applying for childcare compensation, the conditions and examples of documents you need to have in your records. You can also read about the help available when applying and getting your records in order.

If you have any doubts or questions, please contact the RCN unit SZW at kinderopvang@rijksdienstcn.com or call your case manager on +599 795 5698.

Parental contribution and child placement subsidy for parents

Information about the parental contribution can be found at www.rijksdienstcn.com/childcare.

For more information about or to apply for a child placement subsidy (so that you pay less or no parental contribution), please contact the Public Entity’s Social Support Unit.

Protection code and suspicions of child abuse or maltreatment

Do you suspect that a child is being abused or maltreated at home? Employees and parents can contact the local Reporting and Advice Centre:

If you suspect abuse or maltreatment by someone who works at a childcare facility, or if there is an unsafe situation at your childcare centre, then a childcare provider or pedagogical employee must report this to the inspectorate via kinderopvangcn@owinsp.nl.

If you suspect a possible crime, parents, owners, pedagogical staff can also report this to the police.
