With the BES(t) 4 kids program, the quality and accessibility of daycare and out-of-school care are being improved. What does this mean concretely for you and your child, and what steps are we taking to achieve this? Here are the main steps we’re working on:

• The staff of daycare and out-of-school care are improving their qualifications to provide better care for your children.
• Employees are learning new techniques through the Conscious Discipline method to interact with children in a positive way.
• All employees have completed child first aid training and are now certified.
• The housing is being improved to create a safer environment for both children and staff.
• Healthier meals have been introduced to meet the nutritional needs of children.
• A better ratio between the number of children and professionals is being implemented.
• The costs for daycare and out-of-school care are being reduced, and accessibility is being improved.
